REUSE CERAMICS

If dishes break during transport or at home, you can return the broken pieces to Golden Biscotti. The material is reused and a new product is created. In this way, valuable material is not lost, no waste is created and fewer raw materials are needed.

Support Golden Biscotti's recycling project and send back broken pieces.

For returns or questions, please contact: mail@goldenbiscotti.ch

Porcelain is not recycled as an independent material in Switzerland. After use, it ends up incinerated or recycled as construction waste.

Even if porcelain is recycled as building rubble, only a fraction of the original material value is retained - it is often only suitable as a filler in road construction.

We as designers and producers should be aware of what will happen to the product, the components and the materials sooner or later. It would be optimal if a product could be broken down into its pure raw materials without much effort. These materials should be chosen so that they could be used again for new, high-quality products or consist of materials that decompose in nature without producing harmful substances.

Given the scarcity of resources and environmental pollution, we can no longer afford for a product to end up in the trash.

By reusing porcelain, Golden Biscotti prevents the loss of valuable materials. “White gold,” as it was previously called, was considered a synonym for preciousness. Let’s not leave our valuables in the trash!
