Rail with element and shelf
This set consists of the railing, an extension element and a shelf. On the gray shelf there is space for brushes, spices, small vases, recipe books or tablets. The shape of the shelf was based on folded paper. The folds serve as holders for books and tablets. The work surface is free of cookbooks and the recipes can be read at a comfortable height.
The length of the extension element is dimensioned so that kitchen rolls have enough space and can be easily unrolled. The filigree simplicity remains despite expansion and filing. The elements can be pushed onto the brass rod without any tools.
The scope of delivery includes screws, dowels, 4 S-hooks, an extension element, a shelf and assembly instructions.
Length: 85cm
Height: 38cm
Distance bar from wall: 2.5 cm
Material: wooden stick beech / brass stick / aluminum tray
Recycling: The railing can easily be divided into separate materials. The brass and aluminum can be reused for new products. The wooden stick is untreated and can rot in the garden. Replacement parts can be ordered from Golden Biscotti at any time.
Installation instructions: Use the drill to drill two holes approx. 43 cm apart in the wall (drill size 8 mm). Insert the dowel in the hole and tighten the hanger bolt with a Torx screwdriver (size TX 10) until only the thread is visible. Screw the brass wall hook onto the hanger bolt. With a wooden wall, you don't need the dowels. However, it should still be pre-drilled (drilling size 4 mm). Then the brass rod can be inserted through the holes and the extension element can be attached.
Brass changes over time and acquires a dark patina. Polishing with a standard metal cleaner or fine sandpaper will restore the material to its original colour.
